Critical partnerships from ASELSAN at LIMA 2025
At LIMA 2025 in Langkawi Malaysia, ASELSAN solidified its role as a key defense partner in Southeast Asia through a series of strategic agreements with leading Malaysian companies. Covering joint production, system development, and integrated defense solutions, these partnerships mark a significant step in ASELSAN’s long-term commitment to defense collaboration with Malaysia.
One of the major agreements was signed with Sapura Secured Technologies to jointly develop military communication solutions and build national cryptology capabilities. With a separate collaboration with MILDEF International Technologies ASELSAN’s advanced remote-controlled weapon systems, communication and electro-optical technologies, and command-and-control solutions will be integrated into the Malaysian Army’s Tarantula Armored Vehicles. In partnership with Ventura IOT, ASELSAN will develop customized pipeline security systems to meet the operational needs of the Malaysian Land Forces. Additionally, a teaming agreement with G7 Aerospace aims to strengthen Malaysia’s local avionics capabilities using ASELSAN’s proven technological expertise.
On the other hand, ASELSAN booth attracted significant attention throughout the exhibition, welcoming visits from Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, Defense Minister Mohamed Khaled Nordin, and other senior officials who received firsthand insights into ASELSAN’s innovative defense solutions.
