
ASELSAN deepens ties with Indonesia at INDODEFENCE
Jakarta, 13 June 2025 – ASELSAN strengthened its presence in Southeast Asia through
collaborations in the fields of joint development, joint production, global supply chain
integration and the official opening of its Indonesia office at INDODEFENCE in Jakarta,
Indonesia.
ASELSAN, Türkiye’s leading defense company, signed five agreements at INDODEFENCE that
will increase its influence in the Indonesian defense ecosystem. The agreements were signed
during the exhibition in the presence of senior officials from both the Indonesian and Turkish
defense industries, underlining the strategic importance of these partnerships.
The agreement with PT LEN Industri covers technology transfer and co-production in radar,
surveillance, cyber security, and command and control systems through DEFEND ID.
Cooperation with Czech CSG Group centers on joint opportunities while the teaming
agreement with Czech Excalibur Army focuses on the integration of ASELSAN systems on
Excalibur Army’s PATRIOT 4×4 Vehicles in Indonesia. The agreement with PT PINDAD covers
joint development of weapon systems, guidance and fire control technologies. Lastly, the
cooperation with PT PAL focuses on modernization and new platform development.
To support these strategic collaborations and continue its growth in the region, ASELSAN
officially opened its Indonesia office during the exhibition. The office will serve as a hub for
direct engagement, custom solution development and long-term maintenance. The opening
ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, Secretary of Turkish Defence Industries,
Ahmet Akyol, ASELSAN President & CEO, and esteemed guests from the industry.
Ahmet Akyol highlighted the significance of the company’s growing footprint in Southeast
Asia, stating: “We are proud to bring advanced capabilities and reliable cooperation to an
important strategic market with our new office in Jakarta. Through our deepening ties in the

Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün commented on the official opening of ASELSAN Indonesia office: “It is
