Iranian Ground Forces present two Gatling-type machine gun

The Iranian Ground Forces present new two Gatling-type machine gun military parade Army Day.

The Moharram (MGG-50) is a 6-barrel 12.7mm caliber (.50 cal) Gatling-type machine gun which can be mounted on pickup trucks, tanks, armored personnel carriers, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, warships and frigates to strike aerial, sea and ground targets.

Moharram Gatling Gun has the following characteristics:
Rate of fire: 2500 bullets per min
Range: like other 50 caliber guns, it has an optimum range of 1600-2000 meters and final range of up to 5000 m.

Mid model – Akhgar 7.62x51mm caliber 6-barrel Gatling-type machine guns overall length 800 millimeters, barrel length, cyclic rate 2000-6000 rounds per minute and maximum effective range 3280 feet.
