Roshel presents the most innovative APC on the market
Roshel Defence Solution has started serial production of its newly revealed Senator Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) for peacekeeping and law enforcement missions. The APCs of these series are produced from start to finish at the Roshel’s manufacturing facility in Toronto, Canada.
Powered by a 6.7-liter diesel V8 making 330 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque, the Senator’s bulk is moved along by monster 335/80/R20 military grade run-flat tires. It is four-wheel drive, of course.
The Senator APC may be equipped with thermal and infrared imaging, two-way communications with a command control center, remote control weapons, and protection from chemical attacks. Owners can protect themselves and seven of their closest bodyguards family members as the Senator can seat eight.
“With our new series of vehicles, we are continuously focusing on providing our clients with future-proof solutions by further development of both hardware and software,” said Roman Shimonov, CEO of Roshel Defence Solutions. Sounds as if the company is taking into account the ability of hackers who may try to electronically wend their way into the Senator’s systems.
Depending on the intended role, the Roshel Senator provides ballistic and mine protection for up to CEN B7/ STANAG 4569 Level II. In this vehicle, Roshel has developed and implemented an innovative technology based on multilayer composite materials offering superior ballistic performance at a lighter weight.
