ASELSAN has conducted a firing test of the GÜRZ hybrid air defense system developed by the company.
Polygonjournal reports, citing ASELSAN, that GÜRZ provides a layered air defense solution against various aerial threats at close range on a single platform.
During the test, the GÜRZ air defense system demonstrated its capabilities using its AESA radar, electro-optical systems and communication systems. The GÖKSUR missile used in the test also performed challenging maneuvers and successfully followed its expected trajectory.
