The “Upgrade and Refresh of Very Low Frequency (VLF) Over the Air Monitoring (OTAM) Equipment” project, carried out under the contract signed between ASELSAN and the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA), was successfully completed ahead of schedule.
As part of the project, ASELSAN-developed Very Low Frequency (VLF) Communication Systems were successfully integrated into the Over the Air Monitoring (OTAM) system operated by to monitor VLF transmissions.
Through this integration, ASELSAN contributed to enhancing NATO’s maritime situational awareness, strengthening maritime security, and supporting the Alliance’s defence and deterrence capabilities against maritime threats. The successful completion of the project further reinforced ASELSAN’s position as a trusted partner within the NATO ecosystem while once again demonstrating its expertise in delivering advanced defence solutions for international programmes.
