Türkiye’s MKE has completed the construction of a Medium- and Large-Calibre Ammunition and Aircraft Bomb Filling and Assembly Plant in Jordan.
According to information provided by MKE to Poliqonjurnal, work to commission the plant has reached its final stage.
MKE, which transfers defence industry production technologies and expertise to friendly and allied countries, contributes to the development of local manufacturing infrastructure through turnkey factory and production facility projects. In this context, the Cartridge Manufacturing Plant previously established by MKE in Jordan has been operational since 2024. The Medium- and Large-Calibre Ammunition and Aircraft Bomb Filling and Assembly Plant is MKE’s second project in Jordan in this field.
As part of its completed and ongoing activities, MKE has implemented a total of 11 technology transfer projects in nine countries. The company also provides training in production, maintenance and repair, as well as technical support services, for personnel who will work at the facilities it establishes.
Negotiations are ongoing regarding the signing of a contract for the maintenance of existing facilities in Jordan and the establishment of new raw material production facilities.
