
MKE has delivered various weapons, ammunition, and equipment to the Turkish Armed Forces and its defense industry partners over the past month.
According to information provided by MKE to Polygonjournal, the company, which is expanding its strategic production infrastructure in line with Türkiye’s goal of achieving full independence in the defense industry, has commissioned new production lines and carried out modernization works as part of a $1.5 billion investment program aimed at increasing production capacity.
It was reported that MKE, which is expanding its production capabilities across a wide range of products, from energetic materials and ammunition to weapon systems and missile technologies, as well as aerial bombs and CBRN protection equipment, delivered various quantities and calibers of products to security forces and defense industry partners over the past month.
Delivered to the security forces:
– MPT-76MH assault rifles;
– 5.56 mm and 9 mm ammunition;
– 25 mm ammunition;
– 81 mm mortar ammunition;
– 107 mm rockets;
– 122 mm rockets for multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS);
– 120 mm mortar ammunition;
– Artillery fuzes with various specifications;
– Modular propellant systems for 155 mm howitzer ammunition;
– Detonators for 155 mm ammunition;
– Spare parts for the JMK “Bora-12” sniper rifle.
Delivered to defense industry partners:
– SR10 and “Nefes” gas masks;
– Equipment for “Fırtına” self-propelled artillery systems;
– 107 mm rocket fuzes.
