Poland Receives New Missiles for Homar-K Multiple Rocket Launchers

The Polish Army has received another batch of missiles for its Homar-K (K239 Chunmoo) multiple rocket launcher (MRL) systems.

According to Poland’s Armament Agency, the latest delivery includes CGR-80 rockets as well as the longer-range CTM-290 missiles, Poliqonjurnal reports.

The agency also stated that work on establishing domestic missile production in Poland is ongoing. The first missiles are scheduled to be manufactured at a Polish facility and delivered in 2028.

The CGR-80 is a 239 mm rocket designed for use with the K239 Chunmoo MRL systems manufactured by South Korea’s Hanwha Aerospace. The CGR-80 has a range of approximately 80 km.

The CTM-290, an export variant of the KTSSM Block-I tactical ballistic missile, is designed to engage targets at ranges of approximately 290–300 km. Both types of missiles are manufactured by Hanwha Aerospace.
