Powering Ahead: ASELSAN Delivers Strong H1 2026

ASELSAN continued its strong growth momentum in the first half of 2026, driven by robust operational performance, rising technology investments and disciplined financial management. According to its inflation-adjusted financial results announced on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Türkiye’s most valuable company generated USD 2 billion in revenue in the first six months of the year, marking a 25% real-term increase compared with the same period of 2025. The company also signed USD 4.9 billion in new contracts, up 72% year on year, while its backlog reached a record USD 23.2 billion, reflecting a 45% increase.

ASELSAN is also accelerating investments to support its expanding production capacity and technology base. Investments focused on scaling up capacity rose 195% to USD 323 million, while R&D spending on advanced and critical technologies increased 41% to USD 804 million. Together, strong demand, growing investments and a solid order pipeline continue to reinforce ASELSAN’s long-term growth trajectory. At the same time, the company maintained its disciplined financial approach, with its Net Debt/EBITDA ratio improving from 0.57 to 0.55 compared with the same period of the previous year.

ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol evaluated the financial results for the H1 of 2026 stating: “2025 had gone down in the records as the year in which ASELSAN achieved the strongest financial performance in its history. The results we achieved in the first half of 2026, however, show that we have carried this success even further. We elevated the historic momentum we captured in 2025 to an even higher level through our new contracts, growing production capacity, and strengthening technological competencies. Our balance sheet demonstrates both the strength of our first half performance and that our success will continue continuous in the period ahead.”
