US Approves Sale of KC-46A Aircraft to Qatar

The US State Department has approved the sale of KC-46A aerial refueling aircraft to Qatar in a deal valued at $4.5 billion.

The deal includes the purchase of four KC-46A aircraft and other equipment, as well as repair, maintenance and logistics support services.

The principal contractors for the deal will be US companies Boeing, Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, RTX Corporation, and Northrop Grumman.
