US Navy to Receive New Hovercraft

The US Navy has awarded a $231 million contract to Textron Systems.

Polygonjournal reports, citing the US Department of War, that the contract covers the construction of two new LCAC-100-class hovercraft.

The work under the contract is scheduled to be completed by May 24, 2032.
