ASELSAN is participating in EFES-2026—one of the world’s most significant military exercises—with its most advanced technology systems.
According to information provided to “Poliqon” by ASELSAN, the locally and nationally developed defense capabilities are being showcased once again during EFES-2026, conducted under the coordination of the Turkish Armed Forces and attracting strong international interest.
It was stated that ASELSAN, one of the largest participants in the Defense Industry Exhibition organized simultaneously with the exercise under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries, is drawing significant attention from both visitors and military delegations with its advanced technological solutions.
At its exhibition stand, ASELSAN is presenting next-generation defense systems while also demonstrating products actively used by the Turkish Armed Forces in operational environments. The performance of systems participating in realistic operational scenarios further proves ASELSAN’s operational reliability and battlefield effectiveness.
Known for high durability, rapid response capability, and integrated mission execution performance, ASELSAN systems stand out as solutions that meet the demands of modern warfare. Throughout the exercise, the performance of game-changing technologies operating in coordination with various units clearly demonstrates the level reached by Türkiye’s national defense industry.
ASELSAN attracted significant attention at the exhibition with dozens of national systems across a wide product range, including electronic warfare systems, communication systems, electro-optical solutions, and command-control equipment. Systems such as the KORKUT 25 air defense system, KILIÇ and TUFAN unmanned naval vehicles, electro-optical systems, and elements of the ÇELİKKUBBE project were displayed at the company’s stand.
The KORKUT 35 Air Defense System developed by ASELSAN stood out as one of the most notable indigenous elements of the exercise. Thanks to its ability to fire airburst ammunition, KORKUT provided effective day-and-night defense against modern aerial threats including UAVs and missiles.
At the same time, ASELSAN’s KOCATEPE Battlefield Management System was used for the first time during the exercise. It provided commanders and command post personnel with a comprehensive and detailed operational picture across all levels of the battlefield.
During EFES, ASELSAN’s ARTSoft MAESTRO—an encrypted, high-security messaging, file transfer, and live video communication software resilient to electronic warfare conditions—was also employed. More than 30 ASELSAN systems were active during the exercise, including the ACAR UAV detection radar, MİLKED electronic support system, modernized towed artillery system, KALKAN air defense system, SERHAT mortar detection radar, ASELPOD electro-optical targeting pod, İHTAR anti-drone system, as well as critical components of the ÇELİKKUBBE project such as SİPER and HİSAR air defense systems.
ASELSAN’s field-deployed solutions were closely examined by numerous foreign military delegations and defense industry representatives. The company’s technologies, proven in real operational conditions, stood out as a concrete example of the rising global competitiveness of Türkiye’s defense industry.
