KARGU passes precision strike test successfully.

Demonstrating its precision strike capability, STM’s Autonomous Rotary-Wing Kamikaze UAV “KARGU” successfully passed the round of tests carried out at the Mechanical and Chemical Industry Company compound in Kırıkkale on July 5, 2018.

KARGU is able to recognize and eliminate its target in complex and crowded areas showing similarity and has scored highly in tests thanks to its increased ammunition capacity and advanced dive algorithms.

KARGU can carry three different types of explosives weighing up to 1.5 kg, depending on operational needs, and STM is currently engaged in the development of armor piercing ammunition suitable for deployment on KARGU in the near future.
