MODIAR and ASELSAN have integrated Laser Guidance Kit into Azerbaijani bombs

The company of Turkey – ASELSAN has integrated their Laser Guidance Kit (LGK) into the bombs, which are produced by Azerbaijan, with Scientific Research Institute of Ministry of Defence Industry of Azerbaijan Republic (MODİAR).

LGK, which have been integrated into 250 kg high explosive aviation bomb, will be presented in ADEX-2018 exhibition, told Azeri Defence news.

It is the first integration of LGK, which is compatible with NATO standards, into the bombs, which are not compatible with NATO standards.

The battle part of the bomb have been produced by Scientific Research Institute of Ministry of Defence Industry of Azerbaijan Republic, and LGK have been manufactured by ASELSAN.

The manufacturing of product have been taken into account for inland, and external orders.

The contract about joint integration of LGK into Azerbaijani aviation bombs was signed between Scientific Research Institute of Ministry of Defence Industry of Azerbaijan Republic, and ASELSAN in IDEF-2017 exhibition, which was held in May 2017, in Istanbul.
