Unbreakable Brotherhood 2019 to be held in Tajikistan
Unbreakable Brotherhood 2019 joint exercise with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region and the Collective Peace Treaty Organization Collective Security Treaty Organization will be held from October 21 to 29 at the Harb-Maidon training ground of the Republic of Tajikistan.
To work out joint actions, the military contingents of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan are involved in the exercise.
In total, more than 2,000 military personnel and more than 600 pieces of weapons and military hardware will be involved in joint exercise from the military contingent of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The main objectives of the joint exercise are to improve the practical skills of officials of the CSTO troops in organizing and managing the activities of subordinate troops in the fulfillment of their mission, enhancing the coherence of military units in carrying out tasks during the counter-terrorism operation and peacekeeping operations in the CAR of collective security, as well as research into improving the composition of the CSTO Collective Forces and organization management of them during joint peacekeeping operations in the Central African collective security.
Unbrakable Brotherhood 2019 joint exercise will take place in two stages, during the first of which the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region will carry out a counter-terrorism operation of the Central African Republic to destroy and block combat groups and detachments of illegal armed groups.
At the second stage, the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will conduct a peacekeeping operation to maintain peace in the Central Asian region of collective security.
