STM’s Tactical Mini UAV Systems Hit Targets at Winter Exercise 2025
STM’s cutting-edge Tactical Mini UAV Systems were successfully deployed at Winter Exercise 2025, demonstrating their precision and effectiveness in the field.
As one of Türkiye’s leading defense companies, STM Savunma Teknolojileri Mühendislik ve Ticaret A.Ş., continues to showcase its combat-proven advanced technologies in international military exercises.
The international Winter Exercise 2025, conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) in Kars, Türkiye, has been successfully completed. During the exercise, STM’s Tactical Mini UAV Systems effectively hit targets with pinpoint accuracy.
The combat-proven KARGU, Türkiye’s first loitering munition UAV, which has been actively used by TAF since 2018 in counter-terrorism, cross-border, and special operations, once again demonstrated its superior capabilities in the exercise. KARGU successfully carried out multiple precision strikes on designated targets. Already in service in over 10 countries across three continents, KARGU received high praise during the exercise.
Another key asset, the TOGAN Surveillance UAV, played a critical role in reconnaissance, surveillance, and intelligence missions throughout the exercise. Inducted into the TAF inventory in 2022, TOGAN has also been exported to two African countries.
Additionally, the BOYGA Ammunition Drop UAV, equipped with 81mm mortar ammunition, successfully executed precision strikes on its designated targets. BOYGA is currently in TAF service and has been exported to a foreign country.
Also showcased during the exercise was the Through The Wall Radar (DAR) System, which was recently introduced into the TAF inventory. The system was actively used by the TAF Disaster Search and Rescue Battalion Command (DAK) in search and rescue operations during the exercise.
In addition, Turkish Land Forces Commander General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu and numerous local and international military delegations visited STM’s booth at the defense industry exhibition area within the exercise grounds.
