ASELSAN expands strategic partnerships in UAE
ASELSAN has reinforced its global partnerships by signing three key agreements at IDEX 2025, covering avionics, air defense, and mine detection technologies. The agreements include a contract with Calidus Aerospace for advanced Cockpit Display Units (CDUs) for the B-250 aircraft, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Calidus to jointly develop KORKUT 150/35 self-propelled air defense system, and a MoU with International Golden Group (IGG) to jointly pursue the opportunities regarding ASELSAN’s MMTS and YENER mine detection systems.
Under the agreement with Calidus Aerospace, ASELSAN will provide customized CDUs exclusively for the B-250 aircraft, enhancing operational efficiency. The partnership includes co-production, retrofitting, upgrades, and software development to improve the platform’s capabilities. Additionally, the MoU for KORKUT 150/35 marks a strategic step in land defense cooperation, combining ASELSAN’s expertise in advanced defense technologies with Calidus’s manufacturing capabilities. The companies will collaborate on co-production and system upgrades, further strengthening their positions in the global defense market.
In addition, ASELSAN’s MoU with IGG focuses on the potential collaboration opportunities on MMTS Vehicle Mounted Mine Detection Systems and YENER Mine & IED detection system. Integrated into a tactical 8×8 wheeled armored vehicle, YENER features target detection, marking, electro-optic surveillance, and jamming self-protection systems, designed to counter hidden threats.
