
ASELSAN’s critical partnerships with Malaysian companies at LIMA 2025
ASELSAN made a strong impression at LIMA 2025 in Langkawi, Malaysia, with the signing of strategic agreements covering joint production, joint system development, and the delivery of integrated defense solutions with Malaysian companies, reinforcing its role as a trusted defense partner in the region.
ASELSAN, Türkiye’s leading defense company, left its mark at LIMA 2025 by signing two teaming agreements and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation with the Malaysian defense industry. The signing ceremonies, held during the exhibition, were attended by officials from Malaysian and Turkish defense industries, highlighting the importance of these strategic partnerships.
The first of the agreements is a collaboration with Sapura Secured Technologies, which includes joint product development, joint production and the development of national cryptology capabilities in military communication solutions. With the agreement signed with MILDEF International Technologies, the company is collaborating to equip the Malaysian Army with advanced remote-controlled weapon systems, communication and electro-optical systems and command and control solutions. These systems will be integrated into the Land Forces’ Tarantula Armored Vehicles. ASELSAN is also collaborating with Ventura IOT to design and develop advanced pipeline security solutions in line with the needs and requirements of the Malaysian Army.
At LIMA 2025, ASELSAN is showcasing a comprehensive portfolio of advanced defense technologies, including remote-controlled weapon systems, close-in defense solutions, unmanned surface vehicles, sonar systems, and torpedo countermeasures. For UAV platforms, the company is presenting its cutting-edge electro-optical sensors, electronic warfare systems, precision-guided munitions, and guidance kits. ASELSAN is also highlighting its state-of-the-art radar systems, air defense solutions, and an extensive range of communication and avionics technologies.
