IERUS wins $475M Missile Defense Test Contract

IERUS Technologies, based in Huntsville, Alabama, has been awarded a contract valued at $475 million to support test activities across multiple U.S. missile defense radar platforms.
The award was announced by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and covers a performance period spanning nearly a decade.
Under the contract, the company will conduct a broad range of test-related work, including planning, executing, and analyzing radar sensor performance during system flight tests and ground tests. These tasks will apply to assigned test events outlined in the Integrated Master Test Plan, which governs the long-term schedule and requirements of the Missile Defense System.
According to the award notice, the work will take place in Huntsville, Alabama, a central hub for missile defense engineering and test operations. The performance period runs from October 2025 through October 2034, reflecting the scale and complexity of the planned test activities.
The contract was competitively procured through the Governmentwide Point of Entry system on SAM.gov, with three proposals submitted for evaluation. The Missile Defense Agency selected IERUS Technologies as the contractor for this effort. At the time of the award, the agency obligated $5,000,000 in Fiscal Year 2025 Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) funds.
