HAVELSAN Showcased Multi-Domain Security and Autonomous Capabilities at EDEX 2025

HAVELSAN participated in EDEX 2025, held in Cairo, Egypt, presenting its broad portfolio of solutions spanning land, air, naval, digital, and cyber security domains to regional partners. Throughout the exhibition, engagements created a productive environment in which existing cooperation areas matured further and new opportunities were explored.

HAVELSAN’s presence at EDEX was shaped by models emphasizing sustainable partnerships, localization, technology sharing, and long-term capacity-building. In parallel with Egypt’s ongoing modernization efforts in defense and security, multi-layered security requirements were evaluated through this comprehensive approach.

During the exhibition, discussions focused on Egypt’s broad security architecture needs covering land, air, naval, and digital infrastructures. Operational requirements ranging from desert patrols to border management, coastal security, and critical infrastructure protection were assessed through HAVELSAN’s flexible, scalable, and adaptable solution framework.

Strong Interest in HAVELSAN Systems

Throughout the exhibition, BAHA, BARKAN, SANCAR, and MATRA were among the most notable areas of interest.

BAHA drew attention with its extended below-cloud operational capability, performing effectively even under desert conditions.

BARKAN stood out with its modular structure, addressing requirements for border security, facility protection, and unmanned patrol missions in high-risk zones.

SANCAR USV became a focal point with its ADVENT based mission management system and multi-platform compatibility for coastal and port security.

MATRA Digital Maritime Solution was evaluated as a significant capability for Egypt’s extensive coastline.

Strengthened Cooperation Perspective

EDEX 2025 marked HAVELSAN’s role as an important actor in its ongoing cooperation with Egypt. Technical meetings and mutual evaluations conducted during the exhibition contributed to a clearer framework for long-term technological partnership.
