Turkish company presents new armed UGV – Tarantula

Turkish companies TEAS and ASELSAN have presented their joint unmanned ground vehicle platform (UGV). The Secretary of the Ministry of Defense Industry shared this information in its social media account.

The 8×4 wheeled UGV “Tarantula”, with the integration of the Aselsan Sarp gun tower and developed jointly by TEAS and Aselsan companies, will be ready for the service of security forces of Turkey in the coming days. Tarantula has a weight of two tons and can carry 800 kg of load.

Managed with a maximum of 3 km distance, “Tarantula’s” autonomous working time is 8 hours, walking distance is 70 km.
