Iranian Army focusing on equipment of Rapid Reaction Forces

Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Force Brigadier General Kiomars Heidari announced plans to further enhance the power and equipment of rapid reaction forces, told Iranian FNA.

“One of the most important plans and activities of the Ground Force is equipping the rapid reaction brigades and renovation of the sites and equipment of these units,” General Heidari said, addressing the Ground Force commanders and personnel in Tehran on Saturday.

“These plans are among the priorities of the Ground Force’s agenda in the current (Iranian) year (which started on March 21),” he added.

In relevant remarks in January, General Heidari underlined his forces’ full preparedness to give firm response to any hostile move by the enemy.
