US State Department approves possible $39 million Javelin missile sale to Ukraine

Javelin 3 ht er 190925 hpEmbed 3x2 992The US State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to Ukraine for 150 Javelin missiles and related equipment and support for an estimated cost not to exceed $39.2 million.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the required certification notifying Congress of this possible sale October, 3.

The Government of Ukraine has requested to buy 150 Javelin missiles and 10 Javelin Command Launch Units (CLUs).

The prime contractor for the Javelin Missile System is Raytheon Company.
