Azerbaijani company IDRAK implements VTOL Unmanned Aerial Vehicle

IDRAK Technology Transfer of Azerbaijan has prepared a tactical Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) type Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).

The information is provided by Mr Hikmat Abdullayev, President of IDRAK Technology Transfer in the interview with Azeri Defence Magazine.

Equipped with gasoline engine, VTOL type UAV can be additionally equipped with radar, LIDAR, multispectral camera, day and night camera as well as aerial photography camera.

Described UAV weights 22kg, its in-flight battery power is up to 20 hours and flight range is expected to be 1000km in automatic mode.

It is worth noting that IDRAK Technology Transfer has prototyped two fixed-wing and three multiCopter type UAVs, the tests for which are ongoing.
