Japanese Army took the Type 16 tanks

The 8th Infantry Division of the Self-Defense Forces of Japan has received the Type 16 tanks.

Type 16 tank was introduced in 2013. Serial production by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries started in 2017.

About 300 military vehicles will be produced for the Japanese army.

Basic weapon – 105mm canon. Developed by Japan Steel Works.
