Tajikistan has purchased Dongfeng CS/SS4 82mm self-propelled mortar system

Tajikistan Armed Forces has purchased Dongfeng CS/SS4 82mm self-propelled mortar system from China.

The Dongfeng CS/SS4 mortar systems was shown for the first time in the capital city Dushanbe at the parade dedicated to the 27th anniversary of Tajikistan Army, reported Polygon.

The CS/SS4 uses the chassis of the Mengshi EQ-2050 4×4 all-terrain vehicle developed by Chinese company Dongfeng. The CS/SS4 carries a 82 mm automatic mortar Type 81 that is a copy of the ex Soviet Vasyliok mortar.
